Do not miss your chance to hear the one and only NAJEE at the Illinois Jacquet Performance Space (94-15 159th St, Jamaica) THIS MONDAY, 11/16 @ 7 p.m. as part of his promotion for his new album MIND OVER MATTER. The world-class saxophonist Najee grew up in Jamaica, Queens and is returning to the community to talk about his experiences and share his talents with up-and-coming musicians from the area. SEATING IS LIMITED!!! Currently there are only 30 seats left for this unique event. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail me attzlabinger@york.cuny.edu before Sunday, 11/15 to reserve a seat. Preference will be given to younger musicians from the neighborhood, as this is the main purpose of Najee's visit. Any unclaimed reservations will be given away at 6:45 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
