YORK COLLEGE SUMMER JAZZ PROGRAM '09
Come hear and see the YORK COLLEGE SUMMER JAZZ PROGRAM '09 (SJP) as it takes the stage over the next two weeks. These NYC public high school musicians have been rehearsing the music of Basie, Ellington, McCartney, Mingus, Monk, Tower of Power, and others for over a month and are ready to show their stuff. JAZZ IN QUEENS IS A HAPPENING THING
There's great jazz right here in Queens, and we're hearing about some cool jazz shows & venues.
We've even gotten some ink for our little jazzy blog.
